The Gobi Desert is Becoming a Power Plant

A recent article in the New York Times reported that China is greatly stepping up its efforts to become greener. Wind turbines and solar panels are being installed in the Gobi Desert, and more such projects are in the works. China is looking to surpass the U.S. in its environmental efforts.

This was a great article. It flowed very nicely; it didn't jump back and forth. It also showed a parallel between China's efforts and the U.S.'. It was a bit longer than most, but it was also incredibly informative.
