U.S. Senators Push to Free Vietnamese Priest

The New York Times reported that the Vietnamese government is holding a Vietnamese Roman Catholic priest prisoner for speaking out against the Communist government. The priest was jailed for 16 years before for speaking out for human rights. He was sentenced to jail again in a 4 hour trial in which he was denied an attorney and even the right to speak. 37 U.S. Senators wrote a letter urging the Vietnamese government to release the priest.

This was a fairly cut and dried article. It simply explained what was going on; there wasn't much else to it. It wasn't spiced up very much at all, which I suppose is a good thing.
